Our Process

1

Step 1

Rank Rescue will need access to the website in question as well as access to the website’s Google Webmaster Tools (GWT) account to analyze all active backlinks. Once we have completed our audit of the inbound backlink profile and have analyzed all active backlinks, we will compile a report that identifies all toxic backlinks and domains that must be removed. This step is crucial as it ensures that only toxic backlinks are removed. (You don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water)

Step 2

We attempt to manually remove toxic links by contacting the webmasters of each referring domain and requesting removal. This step involves manually sending professionally requests via email and asking for the link(s) in question to be removed. A professionally written letter is created for the removal request for each domain. After 45-60 days, we create a report of the links we have attempted to remove. Because the removal of toxic links is at the discretion of webmasters. We connot guarantee the removal of all links.
